I am a freelance director, producer and writer living in Baltimore, Maryland. I am also the founder of the film production and creative strategy firm, Ramundo Media.
From 2013, I ran the content division at the United States Agency for International Development, where I spearheaded an effort to transform the agency’s storytelling. In 2015, I launched Extreme Possibilities - USAID’s immersive storytelling portal. I wrote, directed and produced over 30 stories and films for the site, and trained our global communicators on how to tell better stories.
In late 2016, Extreme Possibilities won 5 Gold Addy awards at the American Advertising Awards, DC. In October 2016, one of my films, “Our Power is Our Pain” featured in the Official Selection of the Washington West Film Festival.
Before working in film, I was a reporter for Spain’s largest newspaper, El Pais, contributing original reporting in English and Spanish. I received my B.A. from Harvard University in 2003 with a citation in Spanish language.
